Plain words on what Memo remembers, what it never touches, and how you stay in control.
Last updated: October 2026
← Back homeWhat Memo collects
Server and user identifiers (such as server IDs and user IDs) so Memo can remember settings, playlists, favourites and listening history for each community.
Playback state kept in memory while music plays — the current track, queue position and voice connection — which disappears when playback ends.
What Memo does not collect
Memo does not read or store the content of your conversations. Messages are only processed in the moment to run text commands (like ?play) and are never saved.
Memo never asks for passwords, tokens or personal details, and never sells or shares data with advertisers.
How data is stored
Stored data lives in Memo's own secured database and cache, used only to operate the bot — settings, playlists and history. Industry-standard safeguards protect access.
Your control
Remove Memo from your server and its server-level data is no longer used. To request deletion of your personal data (playlists, favourites, history), reach out through the support server and the team will take care of it.
Young listeners
Memo follows Discord's own age requirements. The bot is not directed at children under the age Discord permits on its platform.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be published here with a new revision date.
Questions about your data?
